Q: Tell us about yourself and your past experience.
A: I was born & raised in New York but have been living in Maine for the past 15 years. I went to the University of Vermont for my undergrad then went to the University of Southern Maine to receive my RN and NP licenses. After graduating, I began working in cardiology and long-term care.
Q: What made you want to join the AMC team?
A: I first heard about Age Management Center of New England through my friend and colleague, Allison Gray. We went to the University of Southern Maine together while I was furthering my education to become a Nurse Practitioner. After graduating, we kept in touch and she always spoke very highly of Dr. Bedecs and the Age Management Center of New England team. I was excited to start working at AMC because I’m really interested in the practice’s approach of focusing primarily on integrative and holistic health.
Q: What do you specialize in at AMC?
A: Right now, I specialize in Men’s Health and Hormone Replacement Therapy. This ranges from helping patients with anti-aging, regulating hormone levels, etc.
Q: What do you like to do in your free time?
A: In my free time, I enjoy playing the bass and guitar with various bands. When I’m not playing music, I spend some of my free time at the gym.
Q: What’s a fun fact about you?
A: Before entering the medical field, I had a strong passion for teaching. I was actually a high school teacher in New York for several years and taught global studies. Another fun fact is that I was also a professional musician from ages 20 to 26!
