William M. Peternel, D.O., joined the Age Management Center in the Fall of 2019 bringing over 25 years of experience in the field of Emergency Medicine, Hospital Medicine, Primary Care and Military Medicine.
Dr. Peternel has served our Veterans extensively while working for the Veterans’ Administration since 2002. He is a proud Navy Veteran and continues to serve in the Navy Reserve Medical Corps as the Regimental Surgeon for the 25th Marines.
Dr. Peternel received his undergraduate degree at John Carroll University in Ohio. He then continued his education at the University of New England, where he received his degree as an Osteopathic Physician. Dr. Peternel is Board Certified in Family Medicine and has fellowship training in both Emergency Medicine and Hospital Medicine. He also gained tropical and international medicine experience while deployed in the Horn of Africa in 2015. He received advanced training in Hormone Replacement Therapy through his education at Cenegenics Intitute in Las Vegas.
“Dr. Bill” will be focusing his skills and experience primarily on Hormone Replacement Therapy as well as Regenerative Medicine. He has a special interest in treating Veterans with a focus on the hormonal effects cause by TBI (Traumatic Brain Injury) and PSTD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder).
